The Constitution does not speak to "social issues" and, accordingly, jurisdiction over these issues should be returned exclusively to the states. Social issues are personal; when you disagree with your government's policies, you should be able to "vote with your feet." You should not have to leave your country. We have witnessed firsthand how the social and moral norms of one area of the country often conflict with another. Imposing a ‘one size fits all' solution to these issues ignores the very religious freedoms upon which our country was founded.

I am pro life, from conception to natural death. As the second of nine children and with children of my own, I have experienced firsthand the core strength of America is from its respect for life and family. Our nation was founded, and has grown through all adversity, on the strength of the family.
